A great SEN school near Farnborough, set on beautiful grounds, is looking for a dedicated, engaging and inspiring teaching assistant. The children at this school have a range of learning difficulties such as Autism and ADHD, and speech and language needs. The school aim to provide an interactive and accessible curriculum using outdoor activities and educational trips as well as engaging lessons in the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-Providing feedback to teacher on progress and development
-Supporting the general well-being of learners
-Tailoring learning techniques to individual learners
-Taking part and supervising outdoor activities and educational trips
-Supervising and striving to improve behaviour

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Have an understanding of and an interest in SEN.
-Be confident to lead small groups in different educational subjects.
-Own means of transport is essential
-Be able to work with learners who have various learning difficulties.
-Be flexible and creative in your approach to learning techniques.
-Ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with children.
