You will work alongside your students to motivate and engage them to learn new skills and competencies in several subjects through out the day. In addition, you will support students to learn Makaton (form of sign language) to ensure that students can effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally.

Job responsibilities:
- Provide support to the main teacher to ensure that all materials are provided for each session
- Participate in all activities and sessions throughout the day
- Attend outdoor educational days and work experience days
- Understand the social and emotional needs of each student
- Ensure that all independent learning plans are being implemented in the classroom
- Build student motivation and character


Key Skills:
- To have experience in youth worker, SEN, Education or support worker
- Must have own means of transport
- Keen to develop skills
