Working alongside a team of specialists you will help students with Speech and language needs to access the national curriculum through visual and creative sessions. The school will provide free training from levels 1-4 to help you engage with the students and build strong relationships.

Job responsibilities:
- To assist students to understand their triggers and overcome their barriers to learning
- Create visual and interactive boards to ensure students can see visual representations of subjects studied.
- To motivate students to participate in all subjects and sessions
- Understand how to use Makaton effectively to build relationships with students
- Observe and feedback to main teacher about successes and even better if


Key skills:
- Experience in SEN, Education, Support worker or Nursing roles
- Own means of transport (essential)
- Dedicated to making a difference to students educational practice
- Understanding of Special educational needs
