Are you looking to pursue a different kind of Teacher training? Have you experience working with autism and speech and language needs? Looking for a role which combines training and practical?

This role is a combination of shadowing the main teacher to learn different skills and techniques through out the classroom environment as well as training confidently each week to gain a qualification in the CABAS curriculum. In addition, you will work alongside students with Autism and Speech and language needs to participate in practical sessions such as: Forest School, and Community visits.

Job responsibilities:
- To work alongside main teacher to ensure that all students are effectively following care plans and health and safety whilst in the classroom
- Participate in all activities and training sessions provided
- To complete workbooks and extra course training
- Assist therapy teams and outsourced companies to ensure students are motivated and engaged in sessions


Key skills:
- Have experience of : Nursing, SEN Education, Support worker or Youth worker roles
- Deep understanding of Special educational needs
- Own means of transport as this school cannot be accessed by public transport
- Open to training opportunities
- Dedicated to improve skills and techniques
