We are looking for a calm and dedicated Class Coordinator to work in a specialised school near Lingfield that caters for young people with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties. You will be responsible for deploying support staff within the classroom to ensure that the students are able to access the curriculum and develop their learning and social skills.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Taking a lead in regards to general support duties including providing physical management and personal care
-Supporting students in their education plans and to overcome barriers to learning
-Ensuring effective communication with and between staff and students
-Delivering particular strategies and programmes for students
-Providing a safe and positive classroom environment

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
-A passion for and an interest in SEN and physical disabilities
-An aspiration to enable students to learn and achieve meaningful independence
-Excellent communication skills
-Own means of transport is essential
-At least two professional references
