This primary school is looking for a committed and experienced teaching assistant ASAP to work with a KS2 autistic learner that requires additional support. You will be responsible for working 1:1 with this child, in and out of the classroom. This school is looking for someone that is dedicated and enthusiastic towards this role and the learner. A successful candidate will need to have previous experience working in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
Working 1:1 with students during their time at school.
Supporting with classroom management, also setting up activities, preparing resources, and helping children on an individual basis.
Working with children with an EHCP or a learning difficulty.
Some assessments and evaluations on progress levels of learners.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Relevant child care experience
Be able to provide a child care reference
Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
SEN experience (ideally supported autistic children before)
Own transport could be an advantage due to the location
Eligibility to work in the UK
Previous experience working with children with special needs or behaviour issues may be useful
