A specialised school in Seaford are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to work with young people who have moderate to severe learning difficulties. The students you will be working with have Autism Spectrum Disorders and Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties. Your focus will be to promote the independence and improve the social skills of your students in order for them to leave school as confident and independent individuals.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Supporting a small of group learners educationally and pastorally
-Encourage learners to be independent
-Comfortable with, and confident to, work directly with learners
-Positive and compassionate attitude towards learners

The ideal candidate may posses the following skills and capabilities:
-Experience of working with or caring for young people on the autistic spectrum
-Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
-Basic knowledge of first-aid is desirable
-Good ICT skills with a wide variety of IT resources
-Good team working skills
