A small school in the Arudel area is looking for a teaching assistant who has experience working with young children (11 to 16).These children have social, emotional and mental health challenges. Your role will be to support them with their functional skills and build a trusting relationship that encourages them to engage in the learning process.

Your role will require:
* An understanding of each students' health plan
* Liaise with teacher to ensure all learners are supported
* Engage with the learners to keep them on task
* Deliver 1:1 or small group focused lessons when required
* Willingness to do outreach work

The skills required:
* Good Maths and English skills
* Previous experience working with Autistic learners (child or/and adults) is essential
* Patience and flexibility to deal with changes that may present themselves due to the nature of the learners
* Ability to look after the student's physical, social and emotional welfare
