A main contractor working on a large civils project is looking for a Technical Admin to join their team in completing the final year of the project. They need someone who is confident in quality checking documents, chasing for confirmation and putting reports together.
This candidate needs to be enthusiastic about the role and keen to get the job done well. You MUST have construction experience and ideally would have worked on a civils or rail project before.
It is a contract role paying between £18 to £25 umb depending on experience. This role is based in South West London, so you must live within a commutable distance.
This is a role only for those who have worked within the construction industry previously.

Document Controller Role and Responsibilities:Writing Commissioning Manuals for all projects on the Security Framework.Supporting Technical Projects and departments.Assisting the Quality Lead and TeamManaging Technical Documents, checking the Quality of documents.Working on over 100 projectsImplemented a new system to record Observation Notice, Non-Conformance Reports and Audits.Tracking Handover DeliverablesAd hoc administrative tasks e.g. filing, printing, scanning, copying documents, etc.Assisting Commercial TeamOrganising Site Filing for several projects.Upload and file Health and Safety Documents.Updating the Integrated Programme Lead on current situations within the project.Tracking document review progress and reporting outcomes.Creation and management of trackers and registers.Uploading, revising, and editing documents on a Document management system.Completing Asset Data Collection Sheets for submission to SAP
The ideal candidate will have:MUST have either: construction, rail or civils background experience Advanced Excel skills including the ability to present Data Visually, Add Advanced Functions, Insert Illustrations, Sort and Filter Data, Insert PivotTables and PivotCharts, Manage Worksheets and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) & Macros.Proven history of creating excel trackers Have strong attention to detailCSCS Card would be ideal not essential
