Technical Manager, Asbestos / Legionella, Doncaster, £35,000 + Benefits

Are you an Environmental Consultant who has worked across one or more of the asbestos, legionella or occupational hygiene sectors? My Client are a highly regarded environmental health consultancy who provide specialist occupational health and safety services offering services throughout the UK. They work with some of the UK's most well known FTSE 100 companies and have a very strong forward order book , built upon the excellent reputation they have developed in the industry.

Due to a planned phase of expansion my client is looking to recruit a technical manager to cover all aspects of the companies Asbestos and Legionella services. It is anticipated the role will expand to cover other aspects of the company's occupational services over time, where you will get full training and development in this area.

Mandatory Qualifications:

* BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications or equivalent - Asbestos
* BOHS 901, City & Guilds WH004 or equivalent - Legionella
* Minimum of 5 years experience working within the fields of Asbestos and Legionella occupational hygiene.

Beneficial Qualifications:

* Experience in COSHH & workplace exposure testing and measurement
* CCP qualification in Asbestos occupational hygiene
* BOHS W modules 501-7

Knowledge & Skills:

* Organised with excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail
* Able to work autonomously and manage own workload
* Experience in conducting internal site / witness audits
* Knowledge of UKAS systems
* Full UK Driving License
* Good IT and reporting capabilities
* Ability to work well within a team

The successful candidate should have a professional outlook and willingness to learn, with ambition to progress within the field of occupational hygiene. The candidate must be computer literate, self-motivated and reliable with good organisational & planning skills and be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
