Technical Services Manager - Multiple commercial fit out projects - Central London - £300-350/day

One of our biggest clients is currently looking to recruit a Technical Services Manager to oversee numerous CAT A and B commercial fit out projects up to £5m in value.

The main duty of the role will be to manage all the day to day operations of the multi-skilled mechanical & electrical teams on site and ensure the smooth running of the M&E contract, communicating with all trades - mechanical, electrical and building services. This includes liaising with design team, clients, consultants, M&E managers & construction staff, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining a good relationship with the team.

Duties include: Reviewing drawings for issue, Arranging Meetings with M&E contractors on a daily/weekly basis, Weekly briefing meetings with project management team and consultants, Permit issuing, Witnessing testing of systems (electrical/mechanical), Commissioning, Checking and signing off RAMS, Issuing snag sheets to trades, Signing off snag sheets, Project reporting, ONM's and Handover systems and controls to client.

The successful candidate will be ideally be someone who has previously worked for contractors who specialise in commercial fit out projects.

Applicants for the role must be able to meet and demonstrate the following requirements:

* Fully electrically or mechanically qualified
* Ideally apprenticeship trained. (not essential)
* Health & safety trained.
* Strong people management skills.
* Experienced in managing KPI / performance management systems.
* Previous experience commissioning complex engineering sites.
* Experienced managing hard services across large & small commercial projects.
* Contract Management experience.
* Experience with CAFM systems.
* Relevant IT skills.
* Able to work on own initiative.
* Able to deal with people of all levels.
