You will be required to travel World Wide regularly throughout the year, so please only apply if you are willing to travel and be away from home.
Due to continued growth and wider markets available, as the Technical Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be working along side the Group Manager to continue the success of the department.
Your main purpose is to drive sales growth in all regions with a particular focus on key territories ensuring that you can achieve customer satisfaction along with securing new business and surpassing budgets!
You will have the day to day sales responsibilities but you will also be key to the strategic goals of the department to ensure growth in the short and long term.
You will also work with R&D and Product Development to identify and satisfy new areas for growth.
The role:Drive, coordinate, support and manage the achievement of sales, margin and return on capital Drive growth of sales to all regions, with particular focus on EMEA.Manage customer accounts. Manage sales pipeline - identify and develop new customers and application areas.Investigate and monitor competitor activity and gather market intelligence Issuing of quotations.Develop and implement marketing plans through all media channels as well as coordination of exhibition attendance Attend and represent the company conferencesProduce reports on sales and marketing activities including sales figures, forecasts, margin reports - the successes!
You will need to:be qualified to degree level in an engineering, technical discipline ideally metallurgy have a minimum 5 years relevant work experience.be able to demonstrable a high level of technical competency.be willing to undertake international travel on a regular basis
and if you can speak any additional languages - this is a plus!
