Have you recently completed/are you studying a construction related discipline and looking for an opportunity to train as a Site Engineer?

On behalf of a highly successful main contractor, we are looking for a Trainee Site Engineer to work alongside experienced Site Engineers on some prestigious new build projects in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire areas.

The successful candidate will also be offered further training to degree level if relevant.

Working alongside and assisting an experienced Site Engineer, duties will include:
* Monitoring health and safety
* Resolving any unexpected technical problems
* Establish existing control and set up new control points
* Aligning Grids and Designs to Site Controls using AutoCAD
* Setting up and taking ownership of QA files prior to works
* Quantity Calculations for excavated materials and materials used
* Setting out for Structure, Substructure and drainage using gridlines and datums
* Surveying - Initial site levels, Excavated Levels, Quality checks during construction
* Maintaining and producing As Built drawings for drainage & services using AutoCAD

You should be able to demonstrate determination for becoming a qualified Site Engineer.

A driving licence is essential, together with excellent IT Skills, mathematical skills, innovative problem solving and the ability to liaise with all levels of personnel in a confident manner.

The successful candidate will gain experience working on a diverse range of new build construction projects in the commercial, education, leisure and health sectors on projects form £1M to £60M.
