A leading distribution business in Bradford is searching for a Transport Administrator to support the Transport Manager in a busy and newly created role.
If you have previously planned the daily transport routes, prepared and checked all the relevant delivery documentation, whilst supporting the Transport Manager with all aspects of depot logistics we would like to hear from you.
The role is ideal for someone with prior transport planning and administration experience who has knowledge of routing and scheduling deliveries, excellent IT and administration skills. The business offers a competitive salary, with other benefits including bonus, parking, pension and more.
You'll manage multiple stakeholder relationships internally and externally as you support the Transport Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Service team, 3rd party haulage providers, suppliers and customers.
Candidates who hold a National CPC are particularly encouraged to apply, although this is not essential.
*Assist with the day to day routing and scheduling of the Bradford HGV fleet
*Preparing and checking vehicle consignments
*Booking in customer deliveries
*Checking returned delivery documentation, and completing the relevant daily records as required
*Process order confirmations and support Transend development as directed by line management
*Providing, daily, weekly and monthly transport related reports
*Dealing with any driver and other transport related issues
*Undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the Transport Manager
*Deputise for the Transport Manager as required
