Infrastructure Planning Manager£28.52 - £35.54 per hour *London*An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Infrastructure Planning Manager based in a Local Authority in London.Temporary position - cover for a permanent position for 3 months.The main purpose of the role is as followings;Plan and ensure service delivery within a complex / diverse service areaControl operational activities within the service area and ensure professional standards are deliveredManage responses to complex professional or politically sensitive issues within the area of responsibilityEnsure the development and delivery of continuous improvements in all aspects of the serviceDevelops service plans to meet strategic business goalsEnsure compliance with all internal and external standardsImplement a risk management programme and advise on issues affecting Council service areasRequirements:In depth and up-to-date knowledge of all relevant planning legislation, policies and procedures, particularly in relation to the planning and delivery of large scale initiatives and projects in London, CIL, S106 obligations and agreements, other funding mechanisms, and related processesConsiderable recent experience of Infrastructure Planning work including financial planning, budgetary and procurement management skillsProven track record of providing relevant information and advice to Councillors, Senior Officers (across Council Directorates), Developers and the public on all aspects on infrastructure planningExperience of GIS and their application within Local Authority settingsClients are looking to interview and shortlist shortly, so please submit your CV promptly for consideration.Please apply with submission of your CV and Giulia Mauro from our London CPE office will be in Touch.
