A Primary school is looking to recruit tutors, specifically for Year 5 and Year 6, for English (primarily a Reading and Writing tutor) and Maths. These roles comprise working with students on either a 1:1 or 1:3 ratio and will be either face to face or online, depending on whichever best suits the school and/or the student.

Responsibilities of the role include:Adhering to the national curriculumPlanning and preparation of workProviding pupils with necessary feedback, encouragement and supportTo deal sensitively with parents' concerns, should they arise
Requirements of the candidate:You will need to hold UK QTS or have significant experience as a TutorBeing able to demonstrate the ability to raise standardsTo possess effective classroom management strategiesHaving a DBS already on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new DBS applicationAbility to communicate effectively with others
