Are you an experienced warehouse and logistics supervisor or team leader looking for a step up into management? I am recruiting for a positive and motivated individual to join this expanding business. Working within the online retail industry, you will play a key role and have full responsibility for the distribution of products to customers, ensuring that the already outstanding service is continuously exceeded. You will oversee the full warehouse and distribution function, ensuring that the warehouse and delivery teams are working accurately, efficiently and within set service level agreements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take full ownership of this function and who is ready and ambitious to develop the team and their career.

Within this position, you will be fully responsible for the management of;
*All inbound and outbound supplier fulfilment from our warehouse
*The scheduling, booking-in and undertaking of all customer fulfilment (deliveries, collections, exchanges, disposals, repairs etc.) in line with customer service and cost targets
*All picking activities for supplier and customer fulfilment
*The warehouse and distribution team, from recruitment through to exit in line with the performance management framework.
*The completion of time sheets and tachographs and the handling of any necessary resulting actions
*All staff training to enable completion of the duties expected of them
*The warehouse/ fulfilment centre in line with commercial leases, to ensure health and safety requirements are met and to take responsibility for stock and building security including being a key holder
*Ensuring all stock is effectively stored and graded and oversee the accurate accounting, rotation of and quality of stock received, stored and delivered
*All rented or owned vans in line with commercial leases and to ensure they are correctly maintained including the scheduling of equipment and vehicle maintenance and cleanliness within the requirements of current legislation
*All fulfilment related data to ensure 100% accuracy across relevant platforms at all times
*Document and policy creation and review, suggesting and implementing improvements

Skill and experience required for this position;
*Minimum of 4 years experience of managing 6 Luton vehicles and 8plus warehouse & distribution colleagues
*Minimum of 4 years experiencing of managing a fulfilment hub/ warehouse
*Experience using logistics planning and warehouse/ stock management systems
*Good analytical skills and highly proficient in Excel
*Budget management experience
*Experience of leading a team, performance coaching and employee engagement
*Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
*A proven track record of process improvement and change
*HGV vehicle management experience (desirable but not essential)
*CPC Qualified (desirable but not essential)

This is a permanent job paying a salary band of £27,000 to £30,000 per annum.
