Required: Diploma in Business with focus on inventory /warehouse management.

Preferred: University degree in Business or relevant discipline

Work Experience

Required: Three (3) years of related experience in a supervisory and/or management position.

Preferred: 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing, 3 PL or related industry with inventory and warehousing management responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for warehousing and staging divisions of the procurement department, in addition to inventory control where managed inventories exist.

Your duties and Responsibilities will also include:

* Accountable for smooth operations of all inventory, warehouse and staging locations.
* Establishes priorities for department
* Meets short and long-term objectives for warehouse and staging operations.
* Continuous improvement in the effective utilization of human resources, materials and equipment
* Communicates and solves problems in day to day operations
* Accountable for inventory management
* Conduct cycle counts and identify paths for improvement as required
* Determine proper reorder points to ensure high customer service levels and asset utilization.
* Organize inventories in the most efficient way possible using bin locations, grouping, category codes, like equipment, etc.
* Determine and make recommendations for items deemed to be obsolete or dead stock to ensure items are being utilized and cost reduction.
* Liaise with contractors, client and internal departments to ensure availability of assets in line with project timescales.
* Accountable for human resources in area of responsibility
* Trains employees and ensures compliance with relevant legislation
* Maintain confidentiality with respect to client information
* Safety sensitive: having the authority and responsibility to maintain a safe and efficient working environment; following Company health and safety standards.
