Responsibilities:
* Assist children in developing lively and enquiring minds and provide them with opportunities to make decisions for themselves
* Identify children who have special educational needs and put in place additional support
* Encourage teamwork and develop a balanced attitude towards competitiveness
* Develop an awareness of the importance of exercise and a good, healthy diet and lifestyle

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Previous experience teaching within a Primary school - desirably Key Stage 1
* Dedicated and committed to seeing development and progress
* Strong understanding of the safeguarding of children
* Hard working and resilient
* Can effectively communicate with pupils, staff and outside agencies
* Can utilise the support staff within the classroom appropriately
