The school in question is a 3 form primary school in East Grinstead, West Sussex that is currently actively seeking a Year 1 teacher for a 3 day a week job share (flexible on days). This role is required from April 2019 till the end of the academic year and is Paternity cover. Children within this school are mixed ability from many walks of life; the school has a high proportion of EAL and currently caters for approx. 350 pupils. The school are invested in offering a child-centred approach and every child is respected, heard and valued. The KS1 team has been commended in recent OFSTED and operate a broad and balanced creative curriculum. This is a fabulous opportunity and is open to NQT and experienced teachers.

Responsibilities:
● Providing engaging and interactive lessons
● Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
● Working with the forest leader for 1 hour, once a week
