Are you a dedicated Year 4 teacher seeking a full time, long term role? Do you have experience teaching the KS2 curriculum?

One of our partnership schools based in The London Borough of Newham are looking for an experienced Year 4 teacher to join their team on a long term basis. The school has an exceptional team of teachers and support staff who are dedicated to providing an outstanding educational experience for every child. They aim to ensure that every child is equipped with the skills and a thirst for knowledge and learning that will help them be successful in the next phase of their education. We recognise your children represent society's next generation and we teach them to become responsible, respectful and tolerant citizens of the future.

Job Responsibilities:



* Safeguarding children
* Adhering to the school's policies and procedures
* Providing pupils with necessary feedback, encouragement and support
* Occasionally, you may supervise pupils during events and projects outside of the classroom such as cultural outings, school trips and excursions
* Setting the right example at all times
* Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
* Preparing and marking set work, including homework, to facilitate pupil development

Preferred Skills:



* You will need to hold UK QTS or be suitably qualified to teach in UK schools
* To possess effective classroom management strategies
* Having a DBS already on the update service or the willingness to complete a new DBS application
* Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
* Understanding of Safeguarding
* Previous experience teaching primary school children
