We are currently looking for the perfect candidate to help our school we are working with in SE London. The primary school is based in Southwark and is looking for a long term member of staff to join their happy and vibrant team. Our primary school is looking for someone who wants to join their team ongoing and who wants to teach a year 4 or year 5 class.

Responsibilities of the role include:Adhering to the school's policies and proceduresProviding pupils with necessary feedback, encouragement and supportMeeting with pupils' parents to discuss their academic progress at parents' eveningsSetting the right example at all timesOccasionally, you may supervise pupils during events and projects outside of the classroom such as cultural outings, field trips and excursionsYou will prepare lesson plans and teach pupils in accordance with the national curriculum.You will also be responsible for marking students' work and offering constructive criticism
Requirements of the candidate:You will need to hold UK QTS or be suitably qualified to teach in UK schoolsTo possess effective classroom management strategiesTo be open to the possibility of a permanent contractHaving a DBS already on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new DBS applicationAbility to communicate effectively with others
