job description

Do you want to make a difference?

Could you guide a young person to a brighter future?

Can you support, mentor and motivate?

As a Youth Support Mentor you would implement all of the above in a challenging yet nurturing and rewarding education environment. Working in a pupil referral unit in the Manchester area with pupils ages 11-16 on a one to one basis or in small groups, you will give guidance to pupils who find mainstream education too challenging.

This role requires someone who can provide a consistent high quality of support and mentoring, as well as motivating and encouraging pupils to learn in an environment that suits there needs. In addition the role requires someone that can help to develop pupils to progress academically, socially and emotionally.

Furthermore you will be an integral part to the pupil's lives and to the school itself. The school pride themselves in providing a safe, supportive and positive environment for all pupils and staff.

If you would like more information on this role please give me a call on 0161 200 1904 or email across your CV to christian.thoburn@randstadeducation.co.uk
