Position: SEN Maths Teacher Location: Camden
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and adapt engaging and differentiated maths lessons tailored to the individual learning needs and abilities of SEN students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging, confidence, and independence among SEN learners.
- Use a range of multisensory and differentiated teaching strategies, resources, and assistive technologies to support access and engagement in maths learning.
- Collaborate with SEN coordinators, support staff, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement personalised learning plans and interventions for SEN students.
- Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide regular feedback and support to students and their families.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Maths, or related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification suitable for teaching in special education settings.
- Experience or training in teaching and supporting students with special educational needs, particularly in maths.
- Strong understanding of SEN principles, differentiated instruction, and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
