An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced social worker to work in the beautiful Western Isles of Scotland!
We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for adults and carers, who is ready to make a difference by displaying enthusiasm and commitment.
This contract is for a minimum of 3 months and offers a competitive hourly rate. The role offers assistance with finding and funding accommodation, and covers return trips home.
Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Provide support to adults with learning disabilities, physical disability, over 65's, mental health.
- Assessments
- Case management
- Ideally council officer trained
Requirements:
- Member of the PVG scheme
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly, under direction and independently where necessary
- Experience in Community Care
- (Preferred) experience of Eclipse (work management system)
