Requirements:
- QTS
- Design Technology Teaching Experience
- To possess effective classroom management strategies
- Having a DBS already on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new DBS application
Responsibilities:
- Planning hands-on, engaging and dynamic DT/Food technology lessons for pupils in KS3 and KS4
- Delivering spectacular DT/Food technology lessons for pupils in KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum requirements
- Have and keep a solid understanding of your subject, and be willing to embrace a more practical approach to the curriculum.
- Create a challenging and stimulating classroom climate that will motivate pupils to learn, think independently, empathise with others, and perform to the best of their abilities.
- Observe the learning requirements of the students you teach, and make sure that every student has the chance to reach their full potential.
