child sexual exploitation, young people affected or involved in serious youth violence and group offending. They are seeking someone who is experienced in these areas who can maintain their 'Good' Ofsted rating! This role offers hybrid working with in office/ visits 2 days a week, free parking and up to £38 per hour.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing high quality social work as part of a multi-agency team
- Build the resilience of children and young people
- Build respectful relationships and rapport with children and young people
- Mobilise support networks for service users and their families through effective and regular engagement
- Undertake assessments of children and young peoples circumstances
- Take responsibility for making decisions about the tasks that need to be completed with Families and working always with their best interests in mind
- Use Flexibility and creativity to engage with adolescents and develop trusting relationships
- Attend and participate in Child Protection conferences and Looked After Children Proceedings
The Successful Candidate will be:
- A Qualified and Registered Social Worker
- Experienced with Child Protection, Children in Need or Court Work
- Confident in their ability to establish relationships with people
- Able to write clear and coherent reports
- Committed to personal development
