Job responsibilities:
- Introduce pupils to a wide range of literary works from different genres, time periods, and cultures can spark curiosity and fascination.
- Reveal the beauty and intricacy of the English language by exploring its nuances, idioms, and word origins.
- Encouraging pupils to express themselves through writing, poetry, storytelling, or drama allows them to tap into their creativity and imagination.
- Maintaining regular communication with parents or guardians to update them on pupils progress, discuss concerns, and collaborate on strategies to support pupils learning and development.
- Establishing and enforcing classroom rules and expectations to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Evaluating pupils progress through assignments, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assessment methods.
Requirements:
- PGCE and QTS.
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ) .
- Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.

- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey scientific concepts clearly and engage pupils in classroom discussions.
- Creativity: The ability to develop innovative and engaging lessons, labs, and activities that nurtures curiosity in pupils.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to adjust teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the diverse learning needs and interests of pupils.
- Classroom management: Effective classroom management skills to create a positive and organised learning environment.
