🤝 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific needs of students with special educational needs.
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and social development.
- Collaborate with SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other professionals to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Establish effective communication channels with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
📚 Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess relevant qualifications in special education or SEN teaching.
- Proven experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of different SEN conditions and effective teaching methodologies to support diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and patience to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
