Are you a passionate educator with a heart for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We have an exciting opportunity for dedicated teachers to join our team in Epping, Harlow, Loughton, and Chigwell.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEND students
- Ability to work in 3-hour blocks, providing 1:1 support to students who struggle to access the full curriculum in a classroom setting
- Willingness to work with students in their homes or neutral settings such as community libraries
- Commitment to working in blocks ranging from 4 weeks to termly, depending on the complexity of the student's needs
- Availability to commit to provided timetables for consistency
- Strong communication skills with both students and the organization
- Flexibility for shorter workdays
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored support to students, focusing on their individual needs
- Providing 1:1 assistance to help students overcome barriers to learning
- Supporting students across primary and secondary levels, with core subject specialisms
- Ensuring students work no more than 15 hours per week to maintain balance
- Collaborating with our team and consultants to deliver exceptional educational experiences
- Engaging in opportunities for continuous professional development (CPD)
