Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
- Background in A-Level Biology and Geography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and engage students
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in A-Level Environmental Science and Biology
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes academic excellence and personal growth
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events
- Stay abreast of developments in the field of environmental science and biology education, incorporating relevant updates into the curriculum
- Support students in their academic and personal aspirations, providing guidance and encouragement as needed
