You will ensure that a successful Salesforce user experience is delivered to all users, and will utilise in-depth knowledge of Salesforce platforms to ensure all developments meet best practice. Requirement translation into key deliverables will form part of the day to day role. Multiple project deliverables will be worked on at any time leading towards pre-agreed release schedules.Your responsibilities as our Salesforce Developer will include:Developing and delivering front end changes, agreed and prioritised by the business areasWorking with Business Analysts, Project Leads, Salesforce colleagues and Salesforce Solution Engineers to define and understand requirements, challenging where necessary, in terms of Salesforce capabilitiesWorking alongside administrators and existing development team where requiredTesting new and existing implementations to the agreed software development lifecycle standardsEvaluating the success of projects/processes on an ongoing basis and make recommendations based on a sound understanding of business prioritiesCollaborating with IT and other Distribution teams across the business to deliver high-quality software solutionsWorking with multiple aspects of the Salesforce Lightning Platform (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud) across various business units and stakeholders; including but not limited to Apex Classes, Aura/Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Controllers & Triggers, Data Loader, org customisation, and SOQL & SOSLBuilding excellent product knowledge and always remain up to date on business, industry, technical and customer strategiesEnsuring you understand and adhere to our Code of Conduct and where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies and mandatory training requirementsWhat we’re looking for in our Salesforce Developer:Degree level education in a computing/programming related subject, or relevant experience in an Information Technology roleSalesforce Developer 1 certification or working towards this certificationGeneral knowledge of programming languages and confidence with learning new programming languagesA high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work flexibly within tight deadlines with demanding stakeholdersHigh level of attention to detail when creating and testing code for implementationA clear and concise written style and good presentation skills.
