An innovative food business is looking for a Process Operator - CHP to operate and maintain its combined heat and power plant at their Stratford-upon-Avon site. Their facility contains a new state of the art rapeseed crush plant, a vegetable oil refinery and a biomass fuelled combined heat and power (CHP) plant. This hands-on Operator role involves both daily operation and maintenance of a renewable wood fuelled combustion process; generating 2 MW electricity, hot water and steam for use in the factory. The CHP plant includes PLC-controlled combustion, hot oil circuits, electrical turbine, steam raising boilers, water treatment and associated equipment such as pumps, valves and electric motor drives.
