Randstad Corporate Services (Randstad Solutions Ltd.) have been awarded the contract to supply temporary labour to Abbott Laboratories. This means any temporary worker including those working through a Personal Services Company, Limited Company or Umbrella Company via Adecco and temporary workers supplied by Champion must register with Randstad in order to continue in their assignments with Abbott Laboratories.

The contract to supply temporary labour to Abbott Laboratories will transfer to Randstad on 1 February 2021. Any worker on a temporary contract with 6 months service on this date must register with Randstad to continue working at Abbott Laboratories. If you haven’t yet worked at Abbott Laboratories via your agency for 6 months on 1st February, you will remain with your current agency until you have completed 6 full months. There will be further transition dates at the start of each subsequent month up to 1st July. Once you have completed 6 months on assignment through your agency, you will no longer be able to work on assignment to Abbott Laboratories via your agency and you must register with Randstad if you wish your assignment to continue.

The points below are only applicable to workers and associates engaged through either Adecco or Champion (including any PSC or Limited Company Contractors). If you work through another agency, we will be in touch with you through your agency should any of these changes affect you directly.

The contract to supply temporary labour to Abbott Laboratories will transfer to Randstad on 1 February.
If you have 6 months service or more at 1 February, you will no longer be able to work through your current agency at Abbott Laboratories.
In order to continue in assignment with Abbott Laboratories you must register with Randstad.
There will be a new transition date on the 1st of each month up to 1st July. As you reach 6 months service you will transition to Randstad on the next available transition date as long as you are still in assignment at Abbott Laboratories at that time.
Randstad will need your email address to arrange a registration meeting with you. Please click the "Register Today" button to provide us with your details. Please ensure you enter these details no later than 18 December.
As soon as we receive your email address we will send you a link to complete your full registration.
We will then arrange a virtual meeting with you w/c 11 January - in this meeting we will need to see your eligibility to work documents. We will also need to verify your bank details to ensure we can pay you.
If you are not available for a meeting with us w/c 11 January you must make us aware by emailing us at abbott-laboratories@randstad.co.uk.
Randstad will be working with Adecco and Champion to make sure all your questions are answered during this transition period.
