We’re pleased to share the latest results from our summer satisfaction survey. These findings, derived from feedback from 35 parents and carers and 32 tutors, highlight key areas that define our service, such as tailored learning, meaningful tutor-pupil connections, and tangible, long-term outcomes.
personalised learning for every pupil
Randstad tutors understand that every pupil has a unique learning style, and they tailor their teaching methods to ensure each child receives the support they need to thrive.
91% of parents and carers reported that their child has a good working relationship with their tutor, and 91% of parents and carers expressed satisfaction with the quality of the tutoring provided. These stats show that Randstad’s personalised learning approach is both appreciated and effective in driving positive outcomes.
One parent shared, "The tutor has managed to explain things in a way perfectly pitched to my foster daughter." This feedback underscores the flexibility and adaptability of our tutors, ensuring they meet each pupil where they are and explain concepts in a way that resonates with their unique needs.
Similarly, another of our parents and carers noted, "The tutor adapts her lessons to the needs of the child. He's a kinesthetic and visual learner, and she recognises this. The child is making good steady progress…He looks forward to his lessons…which is a marked improvement in his motivation and attitude towards learning. It's built his confidence as he really enjoys their sessions together." This demonstrates how Randstad tutors don’t just teach, they engage pupils in a way that suits their learning styles, helping them enjoy learning and boost their confidence.
building strong relationships and trust
Strong relationships between tutors and pupils are fundamental to the success of tuition and intervention. By developing trust and rapport, tutors create a safe space for pupils to engage in learning.
In fact, 91% of tutors agreed that tuition has had a positive impact on pupil confidence. This highlights that our tutors are not only skilled educators but also supportive mentors who invest in their pupils’ success on a personal level.
As one parent shared, "Our tutor has been excellent at teaching my autistic son after him being at home for nearly the entirety of his secondary education. She is patient, empathetic, professional, approachable, makes him feel empowered and able to do more than what he thinks he could do." This feedback speaks to the personalised, empathetic tutoring Randstad offers, especially for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
impact on confidence and progress
The results speak for themselves: 91% of parents and carers say their child has made expected progress.
One tutor shared, "When a pupil worked out a solution by themselves without me telling them. It was something new – I gave them the answer and they had to use what they had learned to solve how I got there. It was lovely." This is an excellent example of fostering independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
supporting beyond learning: confidence, creativity, and growth
At Randstad, we believe in supporting pupils beyond just education. Our tutors not only help pupils achieve better grades, but they also contribute to emotional growth, creativity, and the development of life skills.
One example of this comes from a tutor who helped a pupil with social anxiety overcome her challenges: "I got through to a pupil four different organisations said was a lost cause. Her social anxiety faded away within two weeks working with her day in day out just by switching the camera and microphone off."
enhanced communication and feedback
90% of parents and carers agree they are happy with the feedback shared by tutors about their child’s progress, up from 86% in our December 2024 survey. This highlights the importance of keeping parents and carers informed directly through tutor feedback.
