Some of the students have severe medical needs, so they need Teaching Assistants who are strong and resilient and able to adapt to any given situation.The school caters for children in early years all the way up to college age so a candidate with a child and adult DBS, would be highly desirable.Teaching Assistants are required to assist with personal care for the pupils and are supported with this by the permanent onsite team members.If you are local, or you're willing to travel and looking for a role on a long term basis, then apply today!Your responsibilities:Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacherUsing imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupilsWorking with small groups and 1:1Liaising with fellow colleagues to get the most out of your pupils developmentTo provide group and/or individual activities, planned by the teacherTo monitor and evaluate learners learning under the guidance of the teacherTo assist teachers in the use of relevant management strategies to ensure a purposeful environment for teaching and learning to take placeYour Requirements:A caring and thoughtful personalityExperience working or volunteering with SEN pupils, in either an education setting or a care roleTeam player mentalityThe ability to build rapport quickly with both staff and the students you will be working withCandidates will ideally be qualified to Level 3, but this isn't an essential requirementThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a school with a thriving, challenging and happy environment.       Do you have experience supporting children in a classroom environment?Have you worked as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant before?Are you motivated and passionate about the development of young people?Position: Teaching Assistant (Secondary) Location: Suffolk I am looking for Teaching Assistants to work with us on a flexible/part-time basis with a variety of outstanding schools around Suffolk, with the potential of a temporary to permanent role developing in the future. You will be expected to work normal school hours. All positions are due to start in October 2021. The role: We are looking for an experienced TA who has a strong commitment to working with children to join our team. You will be supporting pupils in all aspects of their learning and development. You will be working closely with the class teacher and the school SENCO to ensure that the pupils gain full and meaningful access to the curriculum. Positions can be temporary or permanent depending on the placement.
