      School Bursar Do you have experience of working within school administration and finance? Are you available for interim jobs in January 2022? If so, then we are looking for you! We are currently recruiting for a school based in the North Preston area who are looking for a school business support officer or bursar to cover a temporary contract from the beginning of January.This position requires an excellent working knowledge of SIMS and FMS, as you will be expected to support the school quickly and independantly.The post is full time (8.30-4.00pm) Monday to Friday.The skills - Excellent administrative and ICT skills (including SIMS and FMS) and the ability to multi-task.- Excellent knowledge of school processed including finance. - Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.- Someone flexible and supportive. - The ability to work with high levels of tact, confidentiality and discretion, especially when dealing with pupils and parents. - Previous experience of working within a school office environment.The role- Day to day finance procedures, including order processing, invoicing and reconciliations. - Dealing with petty cash.- Supporting parents, pupils and staff with queries- Being the first port of call in the office and dealing with telephone calls and emails- Supporting and updating registers and other attendance matters using SIMS- Ad hoc admin as required by the Head teacher.- Potentially assisting with any basic HR administration.We are proud to support a diverse portfolio of schools across Lancashire, so even if this job or location is not suitable, we would still like to hear from you regarding your relevant school experience, as we may have other roles available in schools, which may be a better match.All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility checks.
