Job Title: Slinger/Banksman

Job Description: We are seeking a competent and experienced Slinger/Banksman to join our team in Ashford. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely direct the movement of vehicles and equipment on-site using hand signals or two-way radios.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with crane operators and other team members to coordinate lifts.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
- Valid Slinger ticket.
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
- Proven experience working as a Slinger/Banksman on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
