Your duties as a Teaching Assistant will include:
- Assist in carrying out educational strategies that are appropriate for each child's learning goals.
- Develop a connection of trust with every child and speak to them in terms they can understand.
- Encourage diversity, acceptance, and inclusion, and make sure all the children have equal access to learning and growth.
- Encourage children's involvement and make sure they are paying attention during the lesson.
- Provide opportunities for developing independence.
- Give children, parents, and caregivers feedback about their development, accomplishments, and potential issues as directed by the teaching team.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the national curriculum
- Experience working with KS3/4/5 pupils
- A drive to inspire the next generation
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
