Sustainable sourcing and growing.
Our ingredients are only as good as where they come from. In order to continue using the best quality ingredients in the future, we need to take care of them and where they come from today. From the health of our soil and the seed varieties we select, to the amount of water used throughout growing season, we are committed to following sustainable agriculture practices such as irrigation systems that reduce the amount of water used and saving tomato stems to use as feed, compost, and fertilizer.

Health and wellness.
We aim to use top-quality ingredients packed with natural flavour, which means we don't have to add a lot of extras to create the tastes our customers love. Since 1985 we've been adding less sugar, salt and fat to several of our most popular products and we don't plan on stopping our initiative towards making it easier for everyone to lead a healthy life without sacrificing flavour anytime soon.

Sustainable packaging.
From saying goodbye to multipack plastic in the UK, to using recyclable cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, and glass jars, to recently adding recyclable caps to a variety of our bottles, we are constantly transforming our packaging to minimise what's thrown away whenever you choose Heinz. By 2025, we want 100% of our packaging to be recyclable, reusable or compostable.
