Randstad Corporate Services (Randstad Solutions Ltd) has been awarded the contract to supply temporary labour to P&G Skelmersdale DC. This means Randstad will take on responsibility for delivering the customisation business at Skelmersdale DC and Assist will no longer be providing temporary labour to support this activity.



All other temporary workers supplied to the P&G operation at Skelmersdale DC will also be Randstad's responsibility from this date. 



Between now and 5 July 2021, the Randstad team will be working closely with P&G to develop implementation plans and ensure that the transition takes place with no impact to the continuity of the business. The temporary roles onsite will continue but will now be provided by Randstad rather than Assist.



We would like to reassure you that both Randstad and P&G wish all workers to continue in their roles after 5 July. 



It is your right to continue working at P&G and it will be your choice whether you wish to do so through Randstad or whether you wish to accept an alternative assignment with Assist.

  • will my job change?

    No, we do not expect your roles to change fundamentally as a result of the transfer. 

  • how will Randstad's service differ?

    Unlike Assist, Randstad will be responsible for the running of the operation, as well as providing the temporary labour. Therefore, we may wish to alter some KPIs or way of working may be amended to achieve improvements.  This will all be discussed with you in more detail at a later date.

  • how can I ensure my job at P&G isn't affected?

    To continue working at P&G, all temporary workers must register with Randstad. We will arrange registration meetings at a later date.

     

  • is there anything else I need to know at this stage?
