Please read these Terms and Conditions Carefully:

By entering the “Competition”, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

How do I enter? 

  1. This Competition is available to UK residents only, aged 18 and over. Entrants must be working parents or guardians.
  2. The Competition is not open to Randstad employees. 
  3. The Competition is open to anyone who shares a photograph meeting the Competition criteria on either Twitter,  Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn using #RandstadSchoffice. This includes photographs shared in the comments section on Randstad’s origins post.   
  4. The Competition requires entrants to share a creative photo which best visually depicts  how working parents/guardians best balance their jobs and homeschooling. 
  5. There is no cost to register or enter the Competition. The Competition is promoted by Randstad UK Holding Limited, 450 Capability Green, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 3LU.
  6. You agree that if you are a winner, you will take part in and cooperate fully with reasonable publicity and to the use of your name, photograph and any comments in such publicity without any fee being payable. Randstad will announce the two Winners across Twitter and LinkedIn and mention the Winners’ social media handles. 
  7. Any entries may also be liked/shared By Randstad UK, or used in promotional marketing materials specifically relating to the Competition. 
  8. Randstad is unable to accept any responsibility for entries that are either corrupted or not received by Randstad.  
  9. You may enter this promotion as many times as you wish.

When and who can enter? 

  1. The Competition starts at 09:00 on Tuesday 2nd June 2020 and finishes at 17:00 on Friday 19th June 2020. Amendment: This deadline has been extended to 17:00 on Friday 26th June 2020.   
  2. The Competition may be available after the closing date but no entries received after the closing date will be valid for the prize (as defined below). 

What is the prize? 

  1. Two prizes will be awarded. Each prize consists of 1 x £150 hamper. 
  2. There will be two prizes awarded 
    1. One prize which best visually represents primary education 
    2. One prize which best visually represents secondary education.
  3. In the event that any prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the control of Randstad, a reasonable alternative will be provided. 
  4. Randstad will endeavour to dispatch the prize within 10 working days of the winners being verified. Please be aware that due to the Covid pandemic, some couriers are taking 48hours+ to deliver.  
  5. The prize is non-transferable and does not include any additional costs and expenses, except that Randstad will pay for the costs of delivering the prize to a residential address within mainland UK.  

How will I know if I have won?

  1. A panel of Randstad judges will select three top entries per category based on creativity. 
  2. An independent party will make the final decision. As such, entries of those shortlisted will be shared with the judge.   
  3. The Winners will be notified on Randstad’s social media feed on Friday 26th June 2020. Amendment: This deadline has been extended to Friday 3rd July 2020.
  4. When contacting Randstad, the Winners must confirm that they meet all of the eligibility requirements for the prize to which they are entitled. 
  5. If a Winner fails to respond to the social media direct message within seven days, the Winner will forfeit their prize and Randstad will award the prize to another participant that has been selected by the independent party.
  6. The names of the judges are available on request.

How will data and entries be used?     

  1. The data shared via the submission will be held for administration, sales and marketing purposes as per Randstad’s privacy policy and will be held no longer than 3 years unless you are placed in a job by Randstad. https://www.randstad.co.uk/privacy-notice/. 
  2. Randstad will share the personal data  provided to them in the course of entering the Competition for the purposes of administration, sales and marketing.
  3. Personal data will not be sold to third parties however it will be shared with Randstad’s supporting agency, or companies within the same Group as Randstad for the purposes mentioned above.
  4. The identity of the winners will be published on Randstad’s social media feed using their social media handles. 

Governing law and Jurisdiction.

  1. The application and interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
