UK Ventilator Challenge Needs People Boost.

The consortium has welcomed talent from across the UK’s aerospace, automotive and medical sectors. With a Government order in excess of 10,000 units, the consortium has accelerated production across the UK. Renowned for its automotive manufacturing capabilities, it’s no surprise that a significant proportion of these will be built in Dagenham.     

Carlo Girasoli, Senior Account Director at Randstad, said: “The response to date has been very positive but we still have hundreds of production operative roles to fill - with manufacturing starting as early as next week. The sooner we can deliver the new ventilators to our NHS, the more patients we can help send safely home to their loved ones.   

Carlo adds; “Whilst it’s a short-term contract to drive production at speed, it’s certainly a career opportunity of a lifetime. Not only is it something incredible to share on your CV, but it will also be a story to tell the grandchildren in years to come. It’s a time when everyone wants to do their bit to ease the burden on the NHS and make a difference.” 

Production Line Operatives need to be available between 20th April and 1st June 2020 and have assembly line experience within a manufacturing environment. All safety equipment will be supplied and operatives will secure key worker status. For more details click here.
