how we can help.
However, situations regarding misconduct can still arise - be they genuine or not.
When there is concern about an agency worker’s conduct, we adhere to the Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education guidelines, but there are also a number of other policies we refer to when an incident arises or an allegation is made.
Complaints Policy & Code of Conduct
Randstad Education’s complaints procedures are followed whenever any complaint is made or negative feedback is received. If the complaint is deemed a safeguarding issue the safeguarding procedure would also be followed.
The code of conduct states the timeframes in which we aim to resolve any issues and complaints, with information on how to escalate a complaint should you feel that you have not received a satisfactory response.
Recruitment & Safeguarding Policy
This policy is intended to set out the values, principles and policies underpinning Randstad Education’s approach to recruitment in line with our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and for ensuring that they are protected from harm.
Recruitment of ex-offenders
This policy sets out the basis upon which Randstad Education will seek information from prospective employees about spent and unspent (current) convictions and how this information will be used. The policy will be made available to all disclosure applicants at the outset of the recruitment process.
Policy on Candidate CPD
As part of our commitment to our candidates and the learning goals of our clients, we recognise the value of good quality CPD opportunities. This policy sets out the steps we will take to ensure that candidates who work through Randstad Education understand the value of managing their CPD and are helped in accessing relevant CPD opportunities.
