Are you an experienced Operative within the Construction or Heavy Industry who is proactive and thrives in a busy environment? We have a temporary AFR Operative role available in the Stoke-on-Trent area, with an immediate start available.

About the Role:
As an AFR Operative, you will be responsible for managing and handling the delivery of materials, which can include waste fuel. You will play a crucial part in supervising the unloading of vehicles and ensuring a consistent supply of AFR to the cement kiln.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of AFR materials, including waste fuel.
- Supervising the unloading of vehicles on site.
- Feeding and ensuring consistent AFR to the cement kiln.
- Conducting sampling as requested.
- Operating machinery, such as conveyors and hoppers.
- Adhering to all UK Health and Safety and site procedures.
- Performing general housekeeping within the work area.
What We're Looking For:
- A full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- Previous experience (2+ years) within the Construction or Heavy Industry.
- The ability to adhere to a rotating shift pattern (e.g., 5 on, 3 off).
- Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.
- A CSCS card is an advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Details:
- Rate: £17 per hour.
- Contract Length: Until the end of December 2025.
- Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, 37 hours per week.
- Hours: 06:00-16:00 and 07:00-17:00.
