Are you a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager looking for your next challenge in Ashford? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team on an existing, ongoing residential development, providing crucial support to ensure project success.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to apply your skills in a live environment, focusing on quality control, programme adherence, and supporting the final stages or later phases of a high-quality residential scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of site operations.
- Focusing on quality assurance, snagging, and defect resolution.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
- Supporting the coordination and supervision of subcontractors and trades.
- Monitoring progress against programme and identifying potential issues.
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
- Assisting with resident liaison and handover processes where required.
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in a similar role within residential construction, ideally on later stages or occupied sites.
- A strong understanding of construction processes, quality standards, and site management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A valid CSCS card.
- SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid qualifications are a bonus.
