Are you an expert in vocational education with a passion for practical learning?

Randstad Education is looking for a versatile and industry-focused BTEC Teacher to join a vibrant department in Colchester.

This role is ideal for an educator who excels at bridging the gap between the classroom and the workplace, helping students develop the tangible skills they need for their future careers.

The Role

We are seeking a teacher capable of delivering BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications. While we welcome applicants from various specialisms (such as Business, Health & Social Care, Sport, or ICT), the core of the role involves managing the rigorous internal assessment and verification processes that make BTEC success possible.

Key Responsibilities

Vocational Delivery: Teach BTEC units with a focus on practical application, industry case studies, and employability.
Assignment Management: Guide students through the research, drafting, and final submission of assignments, ensuring all grading criteria are met.
Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records for Internal Verification (IV) and ensure all work is ready for Standards Verification.
Student Mentoring: Provide 1-to-1 support to help students manage their workload and meet strict deadlines.
