What You'll Do:
- Maintain Serene Spaces: Undertake the meticulous maintenance and upkeep of ornamental grassed areas, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and hedges within the cemeteries, ensuring a beautiful and peaceful environment.
- General Grounds Maintenance: Perform a variety of tasks, including the application of pesticides, removal of litter and debris, and assisting with the digging and preparation of graves.
- Location Expertise: Accurately locate burial plots within the four cemeteries, ensuring efficient service.
- Safety First: Actively participate in excellent health and safety practices and operate in a safe and responsible manner.
What We're Looking For:
- Essential Requirements:
* A valid UK driving licence.
* Experience working within the cemeteries services, construction, or horticultural sectors.
- Valued Skills:
* A passion for maintaining green spaces and contributing to a positive environment.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
