Key Responsibilities and Cleaning Duties
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across all designated areas. Duties will typically include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. General Area Cleaning
Dusting: Thoroughly dust all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, window sills, and decorative items.
Vacuuming/Mopping: Vacuum all carpeted areas and rugs. Sweep and mop all hard flooring (e.g., laminate, tile, wood).
Waste Management: Emptying all waste bins, replacing liners, and disposing of rubbish in designated areas.
Glass & Mirror Cleaning: Cleaning all glass surfaces, mirrors, and interior windows to a streak-free finish.
Tidying: Straightening up and organizing common areas, ensuring a neat appearance.
2. Kitchen/Breakroom Cleaning
Countertops: Wiping down and sanitizing all worktops and food preparation surfaces.
Appliances: Cleaning the exterior of kitchen appliances (e.g., microwaves, refrigerators, ovens).
Sinks & Taps: Washing and sanitizing sinks and polishing taps.
Floors: Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors.
3. Bathroom/Restroom Cleaning
Sanitization: Cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing toilets, urinals, washbasins, and shower areas (if applicable).
Supplies: Replenishing soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
Fixtures: Polishing chrome fixtures and emptying waste receptacles.
4. Specialized & Deep Cleaning
Skirting Boards: Wiping down and cleaning skirting boards and door frames.
Spot Cleaning: Treating and removing noticeable stains on walls, carpets, and upholstery.
Light Switches/Door Handles: Disinfecting high-touch areas.
