Hygiene Coordinator
We are currently recruiting a Hygiene Coordinator to join our team at our site in Newport, North Humberside. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance across the facility.
Pay & Location
Rate: £14.50 per hour
Location: Dianthus Business Park, Newport, North Humberside
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am until finish
The Role
As the Hygiene Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and fully compliant working environment. You will oversee hygiene operations, manage cleaning schedules, support audits, and ensure all hygiene systems meet company and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor daily cleaning standards and hygiene schedules across the site
Ensure full compliance with company policies and legal hygiene regulations
Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate hygiene documentation
Train employees on hygiene best practices, cleaning procedures, and safe chemical use
Drive continuous improvement within hygiene processes and standards
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in a food manufacturing or hygiene-critical environment
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to record keeping
Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules, training, and compliance
A proactive attitude towards safety and hygiene standards
Confidence in leading hygiene activities and training staff
