outhern Water in the New Forest area, as part of the current AMP7 investment cycle. Only a few months remaining until completion.
Your Role:
You will be instrumental in the concluding commissioning phase of this key water treatment plant project in the New Forest. Your focus will be on the critical final testing, verification, and handover preparation of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) systems. Key activities include:
Completing the execution of remaining commissioning plans and testing procedures to ensure all systems are fully operational.
Conducting final functional and performance verification tests on all MEICA equipment (pumps, valves, filters, control panels, instrumentation, SCADA).
Swiftly identifying and resolving any outstanding commissioning issues or snags to facilitate timely handover.
Ensuring all commissioning documentation is finalized, accurate, and ready for client handover.
Maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards during these final stages, considering any specific environmental sensitivities of the New Forest area.
Collaborating closely with the remaining project team and client representatives to ensure a smooth and successful handover.
What You'll Need:
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years' direct commissioning experience on water treatment plants or similar infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of integrated MEICA systems within water treatment facilities.
Proven experience with commissioning testing procedures and methodologies.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid UK driving license and willingness to work on a site in the New Forest area.
Desirable:
Experience with specific water treatment technologies (RO, filtration, disinfection).
Knowledge of SCADA and control systems.
Familiarity with commissioning software/tools.
First Aid certification.
